Day 20: Lightbox
Both myself and the girlfriend have been jonesing for better ways to do macro and/or close-up photography. As I noted in an earlier post, I’ve been using a silver board, and white presentation board as a background. However, recently, on Studiolighting.net, they were talking about building a cheap-o lightbox.
I like this plan. Unfortuanately, the girl beat me to it. Fortunately, I got to use her’s and take pictures of the myriad of stuff that she has that looks cool with macro work. As always, my tools are the 55mm F/3.5 Micro-Nikkor manual, sometimes the 2x-3x Sankyo converter, SB-600 flash, and, of course, the lightbox.
What we have here is the SB-600 on a little, table-top SLIK tripod, and the 55mm without the converter.
